Obama Threatwatch: Socialized Medicine on Deck

Senate majority leader Reid sees global warming debate as a big headache and says: "This may surprise some people but I think healthcare reform is easier than all this global warming stuff ... Across America, healthcare is a problem for everybody, but that’s not the way it is for the carbon situation."

Translation: Global Warming Taxes are on the back burner, socialized medicine is on the front burner.

The Democrats will try to rope Republicans into helping them or deflecting filibuster threats, but they know a 'bipartisan' bill won't be socialistic enough: “Even if we got everything we wanted done with reconciliation we probably couldn’t do more than 75 percent of what is needed.”
