Lee Leffingwell advocates another nutty idea - nighttime parking meters. (If Lee becomes Mayor, I am going to call him "My Leff Nut.") Brewster put that vid together, but he is just a few notches lower on the evil meter; after all, he signed up also for the crazy bio-fuels boondoggle that will cost billions. The parking meter scam is small potatoes compared with the energy audit scam and the other nutty downtown Austin nanny-state-nuttiness.

So vote for Carole Strayhorn, endorsed by ChangeAustin. The thoroughly decent non-politician David Buttross would be a welcome change too, but is trailing in single digits.
