Cap-and-trade does the cut-and-run

Rep Waxman pulls cap-and-trade from subcommittee, doing an end run legislatively. This is good for opponents of cap-and-trade, as it shows that the liberals have to pull stunts to avoid their own bill from getting cut up.

Democrats are wavering and Al Gore is losing the argument. If only I could say the same for the rest of Obama's agenda.

UPDATE: Waxman reverses course on pulling the bill out of subcommittee. The global warming tax is becoming a hard sell to Democrats who see it as a possible career ender to do something that would destroy so many jobs.
