ObamaCare Outrage #16: Forcing old people to discuss suicide

Democrats want you old people to die with dignity, putting euthanasia policies into ObamaCare:

The section, titled “Advanced Care Planning Consultation” requires senior citizens to meet at least every 5 years with a doctor or nurse practitioner to discuss dying with dignity.

The section requires that they talk to their doctor, not a lawyer, about living wills, durable healthcare powers of attorney, hospice, etc. Given the progressive intelligentsia already being on the record in favor of euthanizing the elderly, it is no small leap to see where the Democrats are headed with this.

Legally forcing senior citizens to have “death with dignity schedules every few years is just another way to say the government wants to make sure seniors know it is time to commit suicide to save the system money.

They are FORCING old people to have discussions about dying. Death with dignity is code for assisted suicide. This is their 'healthcare savings' for ya: "Hey, Granny, take a hint, it's time to stop using up all that healthcare. Just die already."

Interesting that the liberals talk of 'healthcare is a right' yet are DENYING healthcare rights in this bill.

If healthcare is a ‘right’ … then it starts with choice in healthcare decisions. You have the right to make your own choices about healthcare.

If healthcare is a ‘right’ …
then it ends at the point where it reaches into someone else’s wallet.

If healthcare is a ‘right’ …
then it’s denied when the Government forbids you from contracting for insurance according to your own dictates.

If healthcare is a ‘right’ …
then it’s denied when the Government forbids you from using non-approved medicines and herbs.

If healthcare is a ‘right’ …
then the Government is wrong to force you into mandates or rules.

If healthcare is a ‘right’ … then healthcare *FREEDOM* should be the cornerstone of any good healthcare policies that includes:
- Your right to choose your doctors
- Your right to choose private care,
- Your right to choose private health insurance and not have mandates and rules load down that health insurance with unwanted provisions; your right should include real health insurance choice
- Your right to NOT participate in health insurance if you wish
- Your right to try health-saving and life-saving drugs even if not fully FDA approved
- Your right to life from conception to natural death
- Your right not to be a victim of euthanasia or bureaucratic health-care rationing

If health-care is a ‘right’ all of the above is a requirement.

Food for thought.

Surely you know by now that there is no such mandate, simply a provision that, ON REQUEST, this service will be a covered expense.
