Website shows why Taiwan should be admitted to the WHO

With all the negative aspects of international affairs to deal with it's refreshing to report that there are positive aspects to consider. The web site discussed below is one of two web sites that received the State Department's 2007 Doors to Diplomacy Award. I expect some would not approve of such State Department activity and I do not necessarily endorse it, but the Taiwan web site designed by 13 to 18 year olds is really well done, highlights the best aspects of internationalism, and shows that it is not just the US that provides international health services aid to other countries.

International Medical Aid, built by four students in Taichung County, Taiwan, explores the international community’s development of health services in Taiwan, and Taiwan’s interest in paying back to the world community with assistance to those whose health care remains insufficient. Just click here, watch and listen.

BTW, China blocked Taiwan's recent bid to join the Word Health Organization (WHO).
