Hunter drops out...and endorses Mike Huckabee.

Just wondering, how is that going over with Hunter's supporters? If you're feeling anything like the now-abandoned Thompson supporters, my guess is this was a kick in the gut.

That did NOT go over well in FreeRepublic land. non-plussed to angered mostly.

Most Thompson supporters seem to be gravitating to Mitt Romney. Liz Cheney, who was part of Fred Thompson's campaign, endorsed Mitt, and so did a number of Georgia legislators who were 'FredHeads'.

In the blogosphere, lot of FredHead support went to Mitt.

That may be what puts Mitt Romney over the top and defeats John McCain in Florida and beyond.
