Rallies This Week to Oppose Pelosicare and Save American Healthcare

Rep Carter and Congressional Republicans are calling for a rally on Thursday at the U.S. Capitol

(WASHINGTON, DC) – House Republican Conference Secretary John R. Carter (TX31) today called for the millions of Americans who participated in the “9-12” (September 12) march on Washington and congressional offices to turn out again this Thursday to help save the American healthcare system from a socialist takeover.

House Republicans have scheduled a national press conference and public rally Thursday at 12 Noon Eastern Time on the West Steps of the U.S. Capitol to build political momentum to defeat the Pelosi healthcare bill. The public is urged to join Members of Congress in protesting the Democrats’ attempt to eliminate private health insurance, slash Medicare benefits, and begin rationing care.

“All through August and culminating with the 9-12 march on Washington, millions of Americans turned out to let Congress know they wanted no part of what the Democrats were selling on healthcare,” says Carter. “But Speaker Pelosi has decided to simply ignore the majority of this country, and take over the healthcare system anyway.”

The Tea Party Patriots have their own protest planned - including Tea Party Express II rolling into Austin on Friday Nov 6th. Also on deck is a phone call protest this week ...
