Obama the elitist hypocrite

Obama will be spending $57,884 to send his children to elite private schools. He voted against school choice for the poor people of DC in failed public schools but wont send his own children to public schools. He will blather on about the need for better education but is so in hock to the teacher's unions that he blocks real reform that can save the children.

Yet he won't let his kids be subject to the system that he inflicts on families too poor to choose an alternative. This is the kind of elitist out-of-touch behavior that leads to politicians not understanding nor caring for the real needs of real Americans.

Great point- I wonder what the teacher's unions are saying under their breaths? It's the old, "do as I say, not as I do" routine...

They dont care. They want their monopoly power and Obama will give it to them. It's all part of the corrupt and lousy educrat system.

Every politician in Washington (regardless of party affiliation) send their children to the premier private school in DC. No family wants to subject their children to the DC public schools, but only select few can afford to get their children out of those schools.

Everybody knows our public schools need a lot of attention, but few are willing to break up the status quo to improve the results.

Let me make clear why I know this to be a fact:

40% of Chicago schoolteachers send their own children to private school.

The schoolteachers and Obama are in the same hypocritical boat together. They wont eat the dogfood that they are trying to sell the general public.

But WE need to raise a ruckus over this, not so much to force the Obama kids into a public school as much as highlight the fact that we need to rescue the thousands of kids in failing and substandard schools and find a better solution for them.

How will those who now occupy slightly more than the majority react once they awake from their mental hibernation and discover that they are the hapless victims of one of histories cruelest deceptions. If I could only be privy to their innermost thoughts as the sleep fades from their turbid consciousness and they realize that everything they had hoped for and all the things promised them were nothing more than the cruelest of electoral shams. This would truly be the greatest of rewards for the free thinker who stood by and called in vain to those who eagerly consumed the tripe Obama and his surrogates eagerly dished out. The truth will eventually come to these dullards, sooner or later, and as that faintest of knocks sounds upon the doors of their idealistic minds it will not be the harbinger of a welcomed visitor.
The truth is a funny thing. Not only does it comfort and console those who could see through all of the obfuscation and myth, but it torments those who were taken in by slick talk and flowery rhetoric by revealing the shallowness of their thinking.
